Baby Bed Head
This morning Allison woke up with a baby faux-hawk. I didn't think she had enough hair to get bed head! Its really cute but I'm probably going to smooth it down before we leave for library time.

Saturday Fun
Last night Kevin and I had a date night - dinner and the new Harry Potter movie. While we were having fun Allison got to spend the evening with her church friends. Picking her up we found out 1. Allison loves pizza, and 2. she is scared of baseball caps - and anyone wearing a baseball cap. Next month we babysit so others can go out, wonder what we will learn then?

pacifiers and bigger problems
The good news is I think we are done with the pacifiers. It has been a non-event which I'm thankful for. However Allison is still showing almost no interest in holding her own bottle or sippy cup. Today she picked up the sippy cup and waved it around for awhile, but that's about it.

Favorite toys
We keep a couple stuffed toys in both the crib and playpen. Yesterday Allison insisted on bringing them with her after her nap. She just keeps getting cuter!
Besides the stuffed animals she loves her new ball, and stacking blocks. Each time we stack them up she loves to knock them down. We get tired of it long before she does.

Allison and the Nectarine
Allison had her first nectarine yesterday. I gave her a big chunk to see what she'd do with it. It entertained her for almost 10 minutes as she gummed on it. She was so cute I took about a dozen photos. Here's a few.

Allison's new ball
10 months old tomorrow! We are making progress every day on talking - this morning she came up to me and said 'ba-ba' and was happy when I got her bottle. I still need a baby-speak dictionary, but we are making progress.
Besides a ball we also got a baby gate and locks for all the cupboards. Kevin is installing baby proofing round 2 now.
