Petting zoo

Yesterday our local Chickfila had a petting zoo in their parking lot.  The girls loved it, Allison was obsessed with the bunny and Taylor wouldn't leave the donkey.  We made it before the rain and got home before the weather got too bad.

Taylor said her name for the first time today - she was looking at herself in my phone and said Tay-la.  She's getting so big, and yes she needs a bang trim.

The girls stayed at Jamies house this morning while I worked an event for Taste Buds Kitchen.  Whe I picked them up Taylor and CeCe had matching hairdos.  First hairstyle, so adorable!!!

Cinderella time

Saturday Cathy and took the girls to see Cinderella the musical at Casa Mañana, then this morning my mom and I took the girls to see the new movie version along with two other mommy- daughter pairs from our preschool class.  Enjoyed both, though I think Allison's favorite part was the 7 minute Frozen film at the start of the movie.

Further proof Taylor is my avocado/guacamole girl.  Trying to wear avocado earrings at kroger today.  Or possibly trying to stuff them into her cheeks the hard way?  

Taylor's first painting

Snow day - day 2.  This time without Kevin as he made it to the airport this morning.  

Taylor got to try painting for the first time this morning.  It's been hard to include Taylor in craft time because she puts all the crayons or markers in her mouth.  

Next up is bubble baths.  I think it's going to be a long day.  

Story time

Today I let Taylor go with Allison for story time just the two of them.  They did very well.  Such sweet girls.

The girls wore matching shirts for the first time today.  Allison was so excited.  Such sweet girls.

Pancakes for Taylor

This morning Allison came down asking if we could make pancakes to surprise daddy for breakfast.  Kevin had to eat and run, but I got some great pictures of Taylor.

Rice Football

For my family and Rice friends - no we don't just dress the girls up in Aggie gear (although that stuff is a lot easier to find).

Taylor's new ride

Today while Allison and Kevin went for a swim Taylor and I headed to Kroger for down groceries.  Taylor had her first ride in the shopping cart without her car seat.  She had fun looking at everything and sitting up.  She's always so happy, it's so much fun to watch her see new things.

Allison and Taylor got to see the attractions at Grapevine Mills today.  We started with the aquarium, then food court lunch with carousel ride.  Next up Lego land and finishing the day with a bounce thing.

Corbin's birthday

Saturday I took the girls to Corbin's 2nd birthday.  I've been working with Allison to understand that it's not always her party.  She picked out presents for Corbin at Target and handed it to him to open.  While she seemed slightly put out he didn't want her to blow out his candles she otherwise did very well.  

Taylor was very popular and got handed around.  I think she was missing daddy because she kept giving Daniel kisses.
