First day at the Bay House

We made it to the bay house, turned on the A/C then went for lunch and groceries. Here are some photos from our first swim, my feet are in the pool as I write! The updates to the house are amazing, more pictures tomorrow, now I'm going swimming.

First haircut

Yesterday Allison got her first haircut. It was just a bang trim, but still a big first. She needed a lollipop to keep her sitting still!

I can't believe how grown up my baby looks. This was my first time doing her hair, hopefully I will get better. It might help if she squirms less! Regardless Allison was ready for her close-up!

Blueberries

Last night we drove to Lufkin to see Kevin's parents for the weekend. This morning we went blueberry picking Nacadoches. With four adults we picked 17 pounds of blueberries in about an hour. Allison helped, though I'm pretty sure all hers went straight into her mouth.

Moms and Tots

Kristin had the first session of Moms and Tots at church this morning. We both had a great time. Tomorrow it's back to VBS prep but this was a great break getting to play together.

Taylor Swift Fan

Allison started rocking out as soon as "Ours" came on the radio while we were driving to Little Gym. She clapped and danced in her seat. During the chorus she would hold her hands up to her mouth and try to sing along.

Allison's First Bike Ride

She came back full of grins and giggles. A big success!

My future veterinarian

Yesterday at a playdate Allison took over the doctor set and claimed a hard plastic tiger for her first and only patient. She spent a solid twenty minutes giving the tiger a checkup, listening for a heartbeat, looking in its eyes, ears and mouth and also giving it a shot or two. Luckily the college her daddy has his heart set on has a great vet school, now I just have to break it to Kevin how much those extra years of school will cost!
