Toddler or Art Genius?

While I took my shower this morning Allison got creative and made "artwork". I take some of the blame - yesterday we opened color wonder paints - they are clear and only show up color on the special paper. I guess it looks a little bit like her yogurt.

Allison pulled down some coloring sheets, and used make-up brushes from her dress up box to "paint" using some of her morning yogurt. At least she did it on the floor. Lesson learned: Allison cannot be trusted with yogurt unsupervised. Oh well.

Blackberries

Kevin cleaned out the blackberry bushes at his parents house. I bet we make cobbler tomorrow.

Don't eat my nuggets

Yesterday we met Kevin for lunch at Allison's favorite restaurant, Chickfila. She caught Kevin stealing one of her nuggets and asked "Daddy, what are you doing?" He told her he was taking a nugget. Allison replied "Daddy, its not nice to eat my nuggets".

Donuts

This morning Allison joined Kevin on a donut run and picked out her own donut. The photos were too precious to keep to myself.

Who's ready for summer?

Allison had her last day of school yesterday. One of her classmates gave everyone a "have a kool summer" kool aid packet and crazy straw. Allison couldn't wait to come home and "cook". Unfortunately she didn't like the drink, oh well.

Desserts with Allison

Allison recently became interested in cooking and likes to help stir. Tonight she helped me make two desserts. My kitchen may never recover.

I have been craving cold creamy desserts lately (cheesecake, tiramisu) so we made strawberries and cream - a recipe I found on Pinterest. It was cool whip, yogurt, cheesecake flavored pudding mix ad fruit. So far I don't think it's something I will make again, but Allison had fun. She kept adding strawberries before I could cut them up.
