Allison loved cheering and waving. She entertained the people sitting around us. During the calf roping she started chanting (probably practicing her cheerleading) and it took us a minute to realize she was yelling "Go Cow Go". We all cracked up. The poor cowboys had a rough night, lots of calves got away and a ridicoulsly high number of broken barriers. So maybe we were better off cheering for the calves.

Go Cow Go
Last night we took the girls to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. I've been missing the Houston rodeo the last few years but wasn't sure what to expect here. They had a big midway though it was too cold to enjoy it. We planned on going to the petting zoo after we got food but they closed it before we got back. The venue was fantastic for the actual rodeo - much small and closer to the action versus Houston. Our favorites were the calf scramble and last night they had a family of trick riders perform - the six kids were ages 5-17 and just incredible to watch. We got there too late to explore all the exhibition halls but I look forward to going back next year.

Career Day
Allison learned about jobs at school today. They talked about being a policeman, fire fighter, doctor, mail carrier and teacher. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up Allison said "kitty cat".

2 months old
Taylor had her 2 month check up today, the doctor said she's doing great. Taylor has grown from 6lbs 4 oz to 8 lb 14 oz and from 18.5 inches to 21.5 inches. She's still in the bottom 10% for weight and height but that's ok, so is/was Allison.
Here is a photo from this morning. Trying to get Alkiskn to hold still is almost impossible.

Pigtails
We've been experimenting with hairstyles the last couple days. Finally convinced Allison to try pigtails.
