Dr. Allison

Allison used a necklace with a large medallion as a stethoscope at playgroup. I got several check ups, Annie got one, and you can see Abby getting one in the picture below. She even asked Abby to open up and saw "ah." We talked about what sound the heart makes and she listened to a variety of body parts. Guess I need to get her a doctor kit for her birthday.

Sunday night party

What a great end to the weekend. Leaving church one of our friends invites a few families over for a BBQ and swim for dinner tonight - no planning. We grilled fajitas, had tons of food, and the kids had the best time on the trampoline. If that wasn't fun enough, after dinner we all went swimming - 8 adults, 7 kids. Hopefully all the little ones will sleep well tonight and I can only pray sleep in tomorrow.

Morning nap

I guess we played hard this morning. I came back from hanging up some laundry to find my baby fell asleep mid-bite eating a potato chip. I brought her bunny, covered her up with a blanket and had to take a picture.

Horsey rides with daddy

Not sure if Kevin is being extra obliging or is just worn out, but he gets a super daddy award for being a good sport. He and Allison are playing on our bed, they started with pony and have moved on to using Kevin as a trampoline.

Allison is loving her gymnastics lessons. The bars are her new favorite piece of equipment.

Music class with Xander

Yesterday we were invited to "bring a friend day" at Xander's music class. Allison and Xander are each others favorite playmates at Little gym and we live pretty close to his family.

We had a lot of fun at class and then went to Chickfila across the street for lunch and playtime. Allison will be going to music class for the next month until preschool starts.

Allison: No
Kevin: Allison, do you want to go upstairs? (where her bedroom is)
Allison: No
Kevin: Are you excited about Christmas?
